The cost of rural crime across the UK has decreased by 16.5% in 2024, dropping to an estimated £44.1 million, with notable regional reductions such as nearly 40% in Northumberland and significant drops in Yorkshire and the Humber, Northern Ireland, the East of England, and parts of the South East.
