Former WWE Star Matt Riddle No-Shows UK Charity Wrestling Event

Matt Riddle, the MLW World Heavyweight Champion and former WWE star, no-showed a charity wrestling event in Barnsley, England, organized by Global Wrestling Kingdom to support survivors of domestic abuse and homeless veterans. Despite being booked months in advance and advertised to face Simon Miller, Riddle never traveled to the UK, citing concerns about his flight and hotel accommodations, and subsequently stopped responding to the promotion's communications. The promotion attempted to accommodate him with paid seminars to offset his downtime, but nothing was finalized due to short notice. Riddle was replaced by Scottish wrestler Grado at the event, and fans who purchased meet-and-greet tickets were refunded. Instead of appearing at the charity show, Riddle wrestled in Florida on the same day and was backstage at another event in Ohio, where he expressed interest in future matches. As of now, he has yet to return the deposit paid to him by Global Wrestling Kingdom, leaving the charity event and fans disappointed.
