Gabbard confirmed that a memo has been issued to identify the individuals involved, with plans for termination and revocation of security clearances by the end of the week. She condemned the behavior as unacceptable and emphasized the need for the intelligence community to focus on its core mission of safeguarding American security. This move follows President Trump's executive order that shut down the diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives under which these discussions were allegedly held. The NSA is currently investigating the misuse of its messaging platform, and Gabbard has stated that those responsible will be held accountable.
