Bleecker Street Acquires U.S. Rights to Relay

Bleecker Street has acquired the U.S. rights to 'Relay', a contemporary thriller directed by David Mackenzie, featuring Riz Ahmed, Lily James, and Sam Worthington. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, follows Ahmed as a secretive fixer who facilitates payoffs between corrupt corporations and those who threaten their secrets, but his world is disrupted when a new client seeks his protection. Scheduled for a 2025 theatrical release, 'Relay' was fully financed by Black Bear and produced in collaboration with Thunder Road Pictures and Sigma Films. The deal was negotiated by Bleecker Street's Kent Sanderson and Avy Eschenasy, with international rights handled by Black Bear. Bleecker Street's upcoming slate also includes notable titles like 'The Return' and 'Hard Truths'.
