Ukraine Downs 65 of 100 Russian Drones in Widespread Overnight Attack

The drones, primarily of the Shahed type and imitation models, were launched from several Russian cities and occupied Crimea. The attack resulted in damage to infrastructure and private properties, but there were no reported casualties. Ukrainian forces employed mobile fire groups, aviation, and electronic warfare units to counter the assault. This incident follows a similar attack on January 27, where 104 drones were launched, and 57 were intercepted. The ongoing drone assaults from Russia continue to pose significant risks to Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure.
