Rohan Biswas Killed in High-Speed Tesla Crash
Rohan Biswas, a 26-year-old man, died after crashing his Tesla at high speed in Aurora, Colorado. The vehicle was clocked at 97 mph before running a red light and colliding with three other cars, including a police cruiser, near the intersection of East Alameda Parkway and South Airport Boulevard. Biswas, who had a history of risky driving, was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash resulted in minor injuries to six people in one of the other cars involved. The Tesla's battery caught fire due to thermal runaway, causing further damage to the road and traffic signals, which were later repaired by Aurora Public Works. The Aurora Police Department is investigating the incident while adhering to its pursuit policy, which restricts officers from chasing vehicles that pose a danger to public safety.
