Four Found Dead in Wolcottville Home

Indiana State Police are investigating the deaths of three children and one woman found in a Wolcottville home on Tuesday morning during a welfare check. The deceased have been identified as 5-year-old Amelia Newell, 6-year-old Allison Newell, 8-year-old Evalynn Newell, and 32-year-old Rebecca Hughes. The officers discovered the bodies at a residence in the 100 block of South Main Street around 11:20 a.m. Autopsies are scheduled to determine the causes and manners of death, and authorities have stated there is no current threat to the public. The investigation involves the Noble County Sheriff's Office, Prosecutor's Office, and Coroner's Office, and no additional information has been released.
