Teachers in Three Locations Arrested for Sex Crimes

Two separate incidents of alleged sexual misconduct involving school teachers have led to arrests and charges. In Vancouver, Shadbreon Gatson, a 43-year-old English teacher, was arrested on suspicion of sexual misconduct with a minor and placed on administrative leave by Vancouver Public Schools. In Vallejo, John Paul Acac, a former teacher and coach, was charged with multiple felonies involving minors, including lewd acts and sexual penetration, after being arrested by Vallejo Police. Acac has pleaded not guilty and is held on a $585,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for January 7, 2025. In another case, a teacher in Ramgarh, Jharkhand, was arrested for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old student, following a complaint by the girl's parents. The school districts involved have stated their commitment to student safety and are cooperating with law enforcement investigations.
