Shaun Alexander and Wife Expect 14th Child, Expanding NFL Legend's Large Family

Shaun Alexander, the former NFL MVP and Seattle Seahawks legend, and his wife Valerie are expecting their 14th child, due in February 2026. The couple, married since 2002, already have 13 children ranging in age from 2 to 22, including 10 daughters and three sons; sadly, their daughter Torah passed away as an infant in 2017. Several of their children are athletically talented, with some following in their father's footsteps in football and track and field. Alexander often shares family moments publicly and emphasizes his faith and gratitude for his large family. Beyond football, he is involved in faith-based educational programs and coaches a homeschool football team. Alexander, also a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist, views fatherhood as his greatest achievement and continues to inspire through his family and community involvement.
