Danielle Fishel Completes Breast Cancer Treatment

Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on 'Boy Meets World', has completed her breast cancer treatment, which included 20 rounds of radiation. Diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), an early form of breast cancer, Fishel did not require chemotherapy and is now experiencing the painful side effects of radiation, such as severe sunburn, rash, and fatigue. While her treatment is complete, she will begin taking Tamoxifen to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence once her body heals from radiation damage. Despite the discomfort and fatigue, Fishel remains optimistic and has started exercising as part of her recovery process. Her doctors have advised that she will start feeling better within two to three months as the effects of radiation are cumulative. Fishel shared these updates on her 'Pod Meets World' podcast, which she co-hosts with her former co-stars.
