The bodies of two Danbury men, aged 26 and 38, who went missing after jumping off a boat in Candlewood Lake on Monday night, have been recovered. The search, which involved multiple agencies including the Connecticut State Police and Danbury Police dive teams, was hampered by bad weather but resumed Thursday morning, leading to the discovery of the bodies. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. when five people were on the boat, and the remaining individuals called 911. The bodies will be turned over to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Officials have extended their condolences to the victims' families.
