Chris O'Donnell Leads '9-1-1: Nashville' Spinoff

Chris O'Donnell has been cast as the lead in ABC's new spinoff series '9-1-1: Nashville,' set to premiere in the 2025-26 season. He will portray Captain Don Sharpe, a rugged fire captain and rodeo rider, who runs Nashville's busiest firehouse alongside his son, while harboring personal secrets. This role marks O'Donnell's return to network television following his 14-season run on 'NCIS: Los Angeles.' The series is a continuation of the '9-1-1' franchise, following the cancellation of '9-1-1: Lone Star.' The spinoff will be executive-produced by franchise creators Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett. The new series aims to explore the unique cultural backdrop of Nashville, distinguishing it from previous settings like Austin, Texas.
