Suspect Arrested in Annapolis Double Shooting Near School Bus Stop

Roscoe Jerome Jones, a 31-year-old man from Oxon Hill, was arrested by U.S. Marshals and local police in connection with a double shooting that occurred on March 19 in Annapolis, resulting in the death of 36-year-old John Simms Jr. and injuring an 11-year-old boy. The shooting took place near a school bus stop, where a chaotic altercation escalated into gunfire, witnessed by at least a dozen children.
