The song, featured on the compilation album 'TRAИƧA' by the AIDS nonprofit Red Hot, serves as a public apology from Sade to Izaak for not understanding his identity earlier. The accompanying music video, directed by Sophie Muller, combines intimate home videos that showcase their family life and Izaak's journey. Izaak has expressed that the song can be a beacon of hope for the transgender community, emphasizing the importance of parental understanding and acceptance.
