The Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) has launched two new AC bus services that operate via the Atal Setu (Mumbai Trans Harbour Link) to enhance connectivity between Navi Mumbai and Mantralaya, effective September 12. Route 116 runs from Nerul to Mantralaya, while Route 117 connects Kharghar to Mantralaya, with both routes featuring a travel time of approximately 100 minutes. Fares are set at Rs 230 for the Nerul-Mantralaya route and Rs 270 for the Kharghar-Mantralaya route. The services will operate on weekdays, with the first bus from Nerul departing at 7:55 AM and from Kharghar at 7:40 AM. NMMT has encouraged the use of these new services to potentially increase their frequency in the future. This initiative follows earlier services launched by BEST and MSRTC across the same bridge, aiming to improve commuter options in the region.
