Windstar Cruises completes first phase of Wind Surf renovation

Windstar Cruises has completed the first phase of a $7.5 million refurbishment of its flagship vessel, Wind Surf, enhancing its common areas and suites in time for the Caribbean sailing season. Key updates include redesigns of the main lobby, reception area, and several dining venues, along with the introduction of new luxury Broadmoor and Sea Island Suites inspired by sister resorts. The renovations feature modern decor, upgraded technology such as new TVs in staterooms, and tropical-themed enhancements on the pool deck. Chief Operating Officer Stijn Creupelandt emphasized that the upgrades honor the ship's legacy while elevating the guest experience. A final phase of refurbishment is planned for completion in December 2026, which will further enhance staterooms and other areas. This initiative is part of a broader multi-year redesign effort across Windstar’s Wind Class sailing ships.
