China Deploys Robot Antelope to Monitor Endangered Species in Tibet

China has deployed a lifelike robotic Tibetan antelope in the high-altitude Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve to monitor endangered Tibetan antelope populations using 5G ultra-low latency networks and advanced AI algorithms. Developed collaboratively by Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and DEEP Robotics, the robot closely resembles real antelopes to unobtrusively collect precise real-time data on migration, feeding, and mating behaviors.
