Erykah Badu Plans 25th Anniversary Mama’s Gun Tour Across US Cities

Erykah Badu is embarking on the Mama’s Gun ’25: The Return of Automatic Slim Tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her 2000 sophomore album, Mama’s Gun. The 16-date tour will begin on October 3 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and conclude on December 10 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, Badu's hometown. The tour will feature reimagined versions of classics such as “Bag Lady,” “Didn’t Cha Know,” and “Cleva,” with stops in major cities including Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Boston, Detroit, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Nashville. Tickets go on sale to the general public on August 1, with presales already underway. This tour follows Badu's earlier 2025 Luv is…Tour with The Alchemist, highlighting her continued prolific presence in music despite a 15-year gap since her last full-length album. Badu emphasizes the live experience as a shared, therapeutic connection with her audience.
