The Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor electric SUV has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled on a single charge, covering 581.3 miles on UK public roads, which is 143 miles beyond its official WLTP range of 438 miles. The unmodified vehicle, driven by professional efficiency drivers Sam Clarke, Kevin Booker, and Richard Parker, achieved an impressive efficiency of 5.13 miles per kWh despite mixed weather conditions, including heavy rain. The nearly 23-hour journey involved driver changes every three hours and was monitored by Guinness World Records judge Paulina Sapinska, supported by detailed telemetry and safety crews from the AA. Remarkably, the Polestar 3 continued for eight miles even after the battery indicator showed 0%, reaching a charger without stopping.
