Eminem Stalker Convicted After Multiple Break-Ins

Matthew David Hughes, 32, was convicted of first-degree home invasion and aggravated stalking after breaking into Eminem's Clinton Township, Michigan, home for a second time in August 2024. Hughes, who had previously broken into Eminem's home in 2020 and threatened to kill him, was sent to prison for violating his probation after that incident. It was also revealed that Hughes broke into one of Eminem's former residences in 2019. He was apprehended after being found on the rapper's property and arrested days later at a nearby Walmart. Eminem testified at the recent trial, with the jury returning guilty verdicts following brief deliberations. Hughes has been jailed since his latest arrest and is scheduled for sentencing on June 17, 2025, facing multiple years in prison.
