Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs 316.78 crore for the construction of a 66-kilometer Ring Road in Vadodara under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion caused by the city's growth and expanding industrial areas. The initial phase will focus on a 27.58-kilometer stretch, with 10.70 kilometers in the eastern region and 16.84 kilometers in the western region. The Ring Road will enhance connectivity to key landmarks like the Statue of Unity and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway 8.
