Missing Camper Found Alive Amid Ongoing Coconino County Rescue

Janelle Banda, a 32-year-old camper and former Arizona State University student, was reported missing after leaving her campsite near the Edge of the World in Coconino County on June 13. She was last seen wearing dark jogging pants and a black and white hooded sweatshirt, and search and rescue teams have been actively looking for her in the rugged terrain near Woody Mountain Road and Bear Sign Canyon. Banda's family expressed deep concern, emphasizing the emotional toll and urging caution in the area. On June 16, Banda was found alive, and a rescue operation was underway to ensure her safety.
