Max George Undergoes Pacemaker Surgery

Max George, the 36-year-old star of The Wanted, has successfully undergone surgery to fit a pacemaker after being diagnosed with a 2:1 heart block. He shared on Instagram that the operation lasted around two and a half hours and involved addressing complications related to collapsed veins. Describing the pacemaker as 'the best Christmas present', George expressed gratitude for the NHS staff who assisted him during the process. He also noted that he has additional tests pending due to inflamed lymph nodes but remains optimistic about his recovery. George's tattoo, commemorating his late bandmate Tom Parker, is located just below the pacemaker, which he finds comforting. He thanked fans for their support and looks forward to resuming his life fully once he has rested.
