Toyota Certified Used Vehicles Surpasses 8 Million Sales

Toyota's Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) program has marked a significant milestone by selling its 8 millionth vehicle in the U.S., a 2024 Supersonic Red Toyota Camry, at Sheehy Toyota of Laurel, Maryland. This achievement makes TCUV the first certified pre-owned program to reach this sales figure since its launch in 1996. The new owner not only received the vehicle for free but also a $10,000 donation made in their name to Active Minds, a nonprofit for mental health awareness, along with a one-year subscription to SiriusXM. TCUV vehicles undergo a rigorous 160-point inspection and come with extensive warranties, ensuring high quality and reliability. The program has been the top-selling certified pre-owned vehicle program in the nation for 16 consecutive years. Additionally, Toyota introduced a Silver Certification for select older vehicles earlier this year.
