Scheffler May Repeat Masters Dinner Menu
Scottie Scheffler, the reigning Masters Champion, hinted at repeating his 2023 Champions Dinner menu for the 2025 Masters during a podcast appearance on 'Golf’s Subpar'. Following his win at the 2024 Masters, Scheffler, who also achieved notable victories such as defending his PLAYERS Championship title and winning the FedExCup, expressed satisfaction with his previous menu featuring 'Scottie-style' cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, tortilla soup, Texas ribeye steak or blackened redfish, and a dessert of warm chocolate chip skillet cookie. The menu reflects Scheffler's personal taste and was well-received, leading him to see little reason to alter it. This decision aligns with the tradition where Masters winners select the menu for the Champions Dinner, a practice started by Ben Hogan in 1952. Scheffler's repetition of the menu would follow the precedent set by Tiger Woods, who also reused a previous menu. The final decision on the menu can be made a few weeks before the 2025 tournament.
