The Scottish band Texas is set to headline Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations for a record third time on December 31, 2024, marking their first appearance at the event in nearly 20 years. Lead singer Sharleen Spiteri announced the news during a sold-out concert at the Hydro in Glasgow. The event will also feature special guest Callum Beattie and will be hosted by comedian Susie McCabe, promising a vibrant New Year celebration with an expected attendance of around 45,000 people.
