Texas Men Sentenced 25, 50 Years for Child Sexual Assaults

Two Texas men have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms for child sexual abuse offenses. Samson Luna of San Antonio was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting a minor from 2013 to 2024, during which he coerced the victim into sending explicit videos and images and recorded assaults himself; authorities found extensive child sexual abuse material on his devices. In Beaumont, John David Allen III received a 50-year sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child; he had been harboring a missing 14-year-old girl in his home and had helped distribute missing person flyers while denying knowledge of her whereabouts. Allen was sentenced as a habitual offender, with prior convictions increasing his punishment. Both cases involved investigations that revealed prolonged abuse and exploitation, leading to significant prison terms aimed at protecting children and delivering justice.
