Jordan, Israel foil multiple arms, smuggling attempts

Jordanian and Israeli security forces have recently intensified efforts to combat smuggling and infiltration attempts along their shared borders. The Jordan Armed Forces thwarted several attempts by smugglers and infiltrators from Syria and at northern border crossings, seizing large quantities of narcotics and arresting suspects, reaffirming their commitment to national security. Meanwhile, Israeli forces, in coordination with police, intercepted multiple attempts to smuggle firearms from Jordan into Israel in the Jordan Valley, confiscating weapons believed destined for organized crime or terrorism. Both countries have increased patrols and intelligence operations in response to the ongoing threat posed by cross-border smuggling activities.
