Renton Man Charged in Multiple Seattle Celebrity, Athlete Burglaries

Patrick S. Maisonet, a 29-year-old man from Renton, has been charged with multiple felonies including robbery and burglary linked to a series of high-profile home invasions and robberies in the Seattle area. His alleged crimes include acting as a getaway driver in a Bellevue jewelry store robbery and burglarizing the homes of Seattle rapper Macklemore and professional athletes such as Mariners pitcher Luis Castillo, former Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, and Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez. Maisonet was arrested on August 21, 2025, after failing to respond to reports of removing his ankle monitor and evading court appearances. His co-defendant, Earl Henderson Riley IV, faces felony charges for his involvement in several of these burglaries and remains jailed. Investigations revealed stolen luxury watches, jewelry, designer bags, and cash, some of which were recovered from a jewelry store allegedly used as a fence for the stolen goods. Maisonet is currently held on bail exceeding $2.2 million and is expected to appear for arraignment in September 2025.
