Boy Found Alive After Five Days in Zimbabwe Park

Tinotenda Pudu, a seven-year-old boy, was found alive after being lost for five days in the lion-infested Matusadona National Park in Zimbabwe. He went missing from his village on December 27 and was discovered on December 31, having survived by eating wild fruits and drinking from underground water sources. His survival is hailed as a 'true miracle' by local officials, who credited the efforts of park rangers and the Nyaminyami community, who used drums to guide him back. The search was complicated by heavy rainfall and the dangerous wildlife in the area, which is known for its high density of lions. While reports differ on the exact distance he traveled, estimates suggest he walked approximately 49 kilometers through harsh terrain. Tinotenda was taken to a clinic and later a hospital for medical assessments to ensure his well-being after the ordeal.
