On August 13, Bellingham police, in collaboration with the Whatcom Gang and Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at 33 Mansion Mental Massage Spa, located across from Carl Cozier Elementary School. This operation followed months of community complaints and uncovered two girls believed to be victims of human trafficking, who were subsequently provided resources by Homeland Security Investigations. Investigators found multiple online advertisements suggesting the availability of women for sexual services at the spa, but no business or massage licenses were located. The property owners received notices of code violations as a result of the findings. As of now, no arrests have been announced, and the investigation is ongoing.
