Adesanya, who lost his title to Sean Strickland, aims to become the first three-time middleweight champion. The co-main event includes a flyweight bout between Steve Erceg and Kai Kara-France. Additional fights on the main card feature Mateusz Gamrot vs. Dan Hooker, Tai Tuivasa vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and Li Jingliang vs. Carlos Prates. Adesanya has also requested the UFC to provide ice baths for fighters post-fight to aid in recovery.
