Jacksonville 18-Year-Old Arrested in Fatal Double Shooting

An 18-year-old man, Larry Allen Baldwin Jr., has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder following a double shooting early Saturday morning at a shopping complex on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville, Florida. The victims were identified as 19-year-old Rubisnney Giraldo-Mina and 41-year-old Larry Baldwin Sr., who is the suspect's father, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Police responded to the scene around 3:30 a.m., where officers found both victims with gunshot wounds and pronounced them dead at the scene. Baldwin Jr. was detained at the scene and later arrested after homicide detectives interviewed him and investigated the circumstances, which reportedly involved an argument. The suspect attempted to provide first aid to one of the victims as officers arrived. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is collaborating with the State Attorney’s Office as the case moves forward.
