Gunman Shot Dead by LAPD in Woodland Hills

Late Sunday night, an armed suspect was shot and killed by Los Angeles Police officers at the Vantage Point Inn in Woodland Hills following reports of erratic behavior, including firing a weapon and breaking windows. Officers arrived around 10:15 p.m. and encountered the suspect, who allegedly exchanged gunfire with them before fleeing into the motel. A SWAT team was subsequently deployed and found the suspect dead inside the motel after he did not exit.
