The Cure have hinted at the release of their first album in 16 years, titled 'Songs Of A Lost World', with postcards sent to fans featuring the album title and a release date of November 1, 2024. The band changed their social media profile pictures to a new logo and directed fans to their updated website to sign up for a mailing list. Guitarist Reeves Gabrels confirmed the postcards are a part of the album's promotion, with fans speculating about the album's imminent announcement. Robert Smith previously mentioned that the album is nearly finished, containing 12 tracks and evolving over the past two years. The band is also set to release live versions of two new tracks from their recent tour before the album's launch. This new project follows their last album, '4:13 Dream', released in 2008.
