Two Men Arrested After Man Dies in Exmouth Garden

A man in his 20s was found dead in the garden of a property on Ashfield Close, Exmouth, following an assault reported around 12:45 a.m. on May 31. Despite emergency services' efforts, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his next of kin have been informed. Two men, also in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Hawthorn Grove, Exmouth, and remain in police custody. Detective Chief Inspector Ian Jolliff stated that scene guards have been established at both the crime scene and the second address, warning residents of an increased police presence and requesting patience during the investigation.
