Foxtrot Opens First New Chicago Store Since 2024 Shutdown

Foxtrot Café & Market, an upscale urban convenience-store chain, is opening its first brand-new location since its abrupt shutdown in April 2024, with the new store launching at 935 W. Webster Ave. in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. This marks the seventh Chicago location and is part of Foxtrot's revival under the original co-founder Mike LaVitola after the bankruptcy of its former parent company. The new store features unique design elements such as a 25-seat patio and offers an expanded café menu including new breakfast tacos, house-made smoothies, and a broader selection of globally inspired gummies. Foxtrot is also showcasing new products from local artisans and consumer packaged goods brands, reinforcing its focus on neighborhood roots and local curation. The grand opening includes several promotions such as free coffee, vendor samples, and special offers to engage the community. This location represents a fresh start for Foxtrot as it continues to grow in familiar neighborhoods following the reopening of six other Chicago stores and two in Dallas.
