Spirit Airlines Adds Nonstop Fort Lauderdale-Key West Flights

Spirit Airlines is expanding its route network with several new nonstop services. Starting December 17, 2025, Spirit will resume daily nonstop flights from Boston to San Juan, and from February 11, 2026, will offer twice-daily service to Fort Myers and daily flights to Tampa, Florida. Additionally, Spirit will launch a new nonstop route between Fort Lauderdale and Key West starting November 6, 2025, initially operating four times per week and increasing to daily flights by December 18, 2025. This will be the only direct air link between these two South Florida locations, providing a convenient and affordable alternative to driving. Introductory fares for the Fort Lauderdale–Key West route start at $79 one way, and the service will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft. Spirit's expansion enhances connectivity in Florida and offers additional leisure travel options from Boston to popular warm-weather destinations.
