Two Men Arrested for Naperville Smoke Shop Burglary

Two men, Jason P. Crumpacker and Elija I. Castillo, both 20, were arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly burglarizing a smoke shop in Naperville. Police responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. reporting a breaking noise, and upon arrival, found broken glass at the shop on West Ogden Avenue. The suspects were quickly located nearby, with Castillo accused of throwing a rock through the window to gain entry, while Crumpacker allegedly retrieved stolen items dropped by Castillo as they fled. Both men have been charged with one count of burglary, a Class 2 felony, and are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Their next court date is set for March 24, according to DuPage County Court records.
