A series of school threats have resulted in the arrests of students across the United States. In Tehachapi, California, a 12-year-old student was arrested for posting a threat involving an airsoft gun on Snapchat, which he claimed was a joke. In Prosser, Washington, a 14-year-old girl was arrested for making a bomb threat against Housel Middle School. A 16-year-old student in Ridgemont, Ohio, threatened a 'bloodbath' at his high school and was charged with inducing panic. In Nashville, Tennessee, a ninth grader was taken into custody for threatening two high schools on Instagram. Other arrests include a 15-year-old in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for threats of violence, a student in Cranston, Rhode Island, for a Snapchat threat, and a female student at Kentwood High School in Covington, Washington, for using a gun to threaten another student.
