Penn Gymnastics Competes in Quad Meet at Rutgers

The No. 19 University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team scored 194.325 to secure second place at the Rutgers Quad Meet, narrowly missing victory against No. 16 Rutgers, which scored 194.450. Standout performances included a career-best floor exercise score of 9.875 and an all-around title of 38.925 for a Quaker gymnast, while Penn recorded the highest team score in vault at 48.650. Meanwhile, Rutgers gymnastics began their season with a strong performance, scoring 194.850 at the American Gold Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Classic and achieving notable scores, including a 49.150 on beam. The Scarlet Knights will look to maintain their momentum as they host Penn in the upcoming quad meet. On the basketball front, Nebraska is set to face Rutgers, with Alexis Markowski coming off a 28-point performance.
