Gladiators and Gladiator 2 Return with New Updates

Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator 2' is set for a digital release in the US on December 24, with availability on platforms like Prime Video and iTunes, and a 4K Ultra HD version offered. Although it has grossed $403 million globally since its theatrical release, the UK digital release date remains unconfirmed but is expected around mid-January 2025. Meanwhile, the iconic show 'Gladiators' will return for a second series with an expanded cast, adding two new Gladiators, bringing the total to 18. The show, which had a successful reboot earlier this year, will air its new season in the new year from Sheffield Arena. Despite the injury of Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known as Nitro, which sidelines him as a presenter, the series will continue to include popular games like Atlaspheres. The reboot has been a major success, being the most significant BBC entertainment launch in seven years, with plans for a celebrity-led version in 2025.
