WVU Lands Key 2026 Football Commitments

West Virginia University (WVU) football has secured multiple key commitments for its 2026 recruiting class, including Junior College safety Aaron Edwards and wide receiver Robert Stith from Niceville, Florida. Edwards, who brings two years of eligibility, chose WVU over several offers and posted strong defensive stats as a freshman at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Stith, a three-star prospect with 45 catches for 870 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, committed following an official visit and selected WVU over more than 20 other programs. These signings represent the 16th commitment for the Mountaineers' 2026 class, reflecting the program's building momentum. WVU continues to pursue additional prospects to further strengthen their future roster.
