Major US Parades Celebrate Puerto Rican and LGBTQ+ Pride

Major cultural parades and festivals are being held across the United States in June 2025, celebrating Puerto Rican and LGBTQ+ pride, as well as local community spirit. New York City will host the 68th annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade on June 9 along Fifth Avenue, featuring the theme 'Plantando Bandera,' with over a million expected attendees and prominent honorees including Olga Tañón and Luis Guzmán. Chicago's 46th Puerto Rican People’s Parade will anchor the Fiestas Patronales Puertorriqueñas with expanded youth programs and community support. Laredo, Texas, will present the Gateway City Pride Parade and Festival on June 7 with a nighttime parade and LGBTQ+ events. Palos Verdes, California, will hold its 37th annual Street Fair & Music Festival from June 13–15, offering live entertainment and family activities. The updated lineup reflects the evolving focus on diversity and cultural pride in different American communities.
