Vehicle Fires Disrupt Traffic on Multiple U.S. Highways

Traffic disruptions due to vehicle fires are affecting multiple highways across the United States. In Iowa, a major crash on I-235 at E. Euclid Ave. caused significant delays, but was cleared by 6:45 a.m. Meanwhile, a commercial vehicle fire has closed all lanes on I-71 N in Carroll County, Kentucky, with officials advising motorists to seek alternate routes. In Washington, southbound I-5 lanes in SeaTac were shut down due to a vehicle fire near the Angle Lake light rail station. Additionally, Route 202 in Readington, New Jersey, is closed because of an active vehicle fire. Other incidents include a vehicle fire on I-85 in Orange County, North Carolina, and a fire on I-696 in Michigan, both causing significant traffic delays.
