Florida State Tops Syracuse 90-74 in ACC Play

Florida State men's basketball secured their first Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) victory of the season by defeating Syracuse 90-74 in Tallahassee. The Seminoles improved to 10-4 overall and 1-2 in the ACC, while the Orange fell to 6-8 and remain winless in conference play at 0-3. FSU's Daquan Davis led the scoring with 18 points, supported by Jamir Watkins (16 points) and Taylor Bol Bowen (14 points, 10 rebounds). Syracuse struggled despite Chris Bell's 18 points and a brief lead in the first half, as FSU surged ahead in the second half and maintained a comfortable advantage. The Seminoles showcased strong shooting, hitting 53.6% from the field and 74.2% at the free-throw line, while the Orange shot 44.1% overall. FSU will continue their ACC schedule with upcoming road games against Miami and Clemson.
