Rowcroft Hospice Launches Open Gardens to Fundraise in Devon

Rowcroft Hospice is launching its Open Gardens program, inviting the community to explore various gardens across south Devon from April to September, with the aim of raising funds to support the hospice's services. Garden owner Gill Liddy, motivated by the care her late friend received at Rowcroft, encourages visitors to enjoy the beauty of the gardens while contributing to a good cause. To kick off the program, a guided tour of Ella’s Gardens at Rowcroft Hospice will be held on April 6, accompanied by a minimum donation to assist with operational costs. Additionally, the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show showcased floral fashion and vibrant garden displays, encouraging attendees to wear floral attire to celebrate the event. The show director emphasized the joy and creativity associated with floral design, transforming the venue into a lively celebration of gardening culture. Meanwhile, the Inishowen Co-Op has opened a new garden center, offering a wide selection of plants and expert gardening advice to support local gardeners.
