Updated 2024 Player of the Year Watch Lists

Several college football players have been named to various prestigious watch lists ahead of the 2024 season. LSU's CJ Daniels and Minnesota's Daniel Jackson are among the 50 players on the Biletnikoff Award watch list, recognizing the nation's top wide receivers. Georgia's Branson Robinson and Minnesota's Darnell Jefferies are on the Comeback Player of the Year watch list after recovering from significant injuries. Meanwhile, multiple players, including Penn State's Abdul Carter and Nick Singleton, Texas Longhorns' Quinn Ewers, Texas A&M's Conner Weigman, Texas Tech's Tahj Brooks, and Florida State's DJ Uiagalelei, have been named to the Walter Camp Award watch list, which honors the best overall player in college football. Arizona's Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan also secured spots on the Walter Camp Player of the Year watch list, adding to their preseason accolades. The Walter Camp Player of the Year watch list will be narrowed down to 10 semifinalists in November, with the winner announced on December 12 during ESPN's College Football Awards Show.
