ITV Recommissions Trigger Point for Fourth Series

ITV has recommissioned the popular bomb disposal drama Trigger Point for a fourth series, with filming set to begin over the summer and an expected release in 2026. The show stars Vicky McClure as Lana Washington, an ex-military bomb disposal expert leading a Metropolitan Police bomb squad, and has garnered high viewership, with its second series averaging 8.1 million viewers and 30 million streams on ITVX. Series three is currently finishing filming and scheduled to air this autumn on ITV1 and STV. ITV's Director of Drama, Polly Hill, praised the series as one of the network's most-watched dramas, expressing confidence that audiences will remain captivated by the team's efforts to keep London safe.
