Middlesbrough has secured the signing of 20-year-old attacking midfielder Micah Hamilton from Manchester City on a four-year deal worth up to £5 million. Hamilton, who made three senior appearances for City and scored in a Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade, joins manager Michael Carrick’s squad as they prepare for the Championship season. The deal includes a 25% sell-on clause and a buy-back option for City. Hamilton, who trained with the senior team during pre-season, is expected to be available for Middlesbrough's opening game against Swansea City. This transfer marks the fourth summer signing for Carrick, following Luke Ayling, Aidan Morris, and Delano Burgzorg. Hamilton's departure adds to a busy week of youth-team exits from City, which also includes loan moves for Callum Doyle and Mahamadou Susoho.
